Azerbaijani Beach — 10th October 2022 (My Photo)

I decided to drive from Doha to up North of Qatar to a lovely beach location called Azerbaijani Beach in Qatar. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the bustling streets of Qatar, then this is the beach to visit. Brimmed with crystal — clear turquoise waters, soft sands, solitude, and gorgeous colorful birds, Azerbaijani Beach, Qatar is an ideal place for nature lovers.

I decided to add more info on this hidden gem. This is a perfect spot for couples and families with kids, even older people wherein they can stroll around the surrounding areas of the beach premises.

Azerbaijani Beach on a weekday — 10th October 2022 (My Photo)

There are numerous beaches in Qatar, to make you enjoy some relaxed moments and plan a spellbinding afternoon or evening amidst tranquility. The beach is unspoiled and a hidden place, it is not know to many and is usually quiet during the weekdays.

So, if you are planning a day here with family, friends or even loved ones, do remember to carry all your amenities with you. The clear starry sky with a cool breeze kissing your body makes this an ideal place for overnight camping. There are no shops, restaurants or facilities near the beach, that’s why this waterfront promenade is placid.

The nearest service station is located around 8 KM away from the beach in case you need to pick up something on an emergency basis.

October climate in Qatar

Qatar weather forecast — 10th October 2022. Location of the beach in the red box in the map

It still feels hot and humid in an October here in Qatar and was expecting the climate to be around 25°C / 77°F but the actual temperature was 35°C / 95°F. I could actually feel the sand heat burning my feet and had to be in the water most of the time to cool off.

How to reach there

Google Map Cut Out

One can easily reach here by driving or via taxi. It is located about 92 km from Doha to the North East Coast and can take around 1 hour 15 minutes to reach the beach. Follow the Q1 Freeway to Junction 72 from Doha then approx. 6km to the beach. One can also explore the amazing fort near the final beach road for a memorable experience. A 4x4 is not required to get to this beach and can be access in a normal sedan car.
